DELULU FASHIONS is committed to handling your personal data lawfully and transparently, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What We Collect
At delulufashions.in, we collect:
• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, including for one-time-password sign-in
• Your shipping and billing address
• The contents and history of your orders
• Photographs and video you send us when raising a return, exchange, damage or missing-item claim
• Data about the browser and device you use to view the store
• The way you navigate the store
Why We Collect It
We collect your contact details because they are necessary to accept and process your orders, to confirm Cash on Delivery orders before dispatch, and to make sure your parcel reaches you.
We collect the details of your device and your behaviour on the site to make the store easier to use and to improve the shopping experience.
We collect claim photographs and unboxing video only to verify and resolve returns, exchanges and damage claims, and to escalate a tampered or short-shipped parcel with our courier partner.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay on their own secure infrastructure. We receive only a transaction status and a reference ID.
Third Parties
Our store works with other companies that help us provide our service, and these third parties use some of the personal details you leave with us. We limit the data they can access to only what is necessary for them to perform their obligations.
• Shopify hosts our store and processes your order, account and browsing data.
• Razorpay uses your name, email, phone and billing address to verify and process your payment.
• ShipPrime and its carrier partners, including Delhivery, Bluedart, Xpressbees and Ekart, use your name, address, phone number, order contents and Cash on Delivery amount to arrange delivery.
• Sway Loyalty uses your name, email, customer ID and order value to run our rewards programme.
• Our OTP authentication provider uses your phone number to verify sign-in.
• WhatsApp (Meta) and our email service provider use your name, email, phone and order reference to send you order updates and to answer your queries.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, by a court, or by a lawful request from a government or enforcement agency.
How Long We Keep It
• Order and transaction records are retained for as long as required under tax and accounting law, currently a minimum of eight years.
• Unboxing videos and claim evidence are retained for 90 days after the claim is closed, then deleted.
• Marketing contact details are retained until you unsubscribe.
• Account data is retained until you ask us to delete your account.
Consent
If you keep browsing our website after reading this Privacy Policy, you consent to our use of your personal details for the purposes explained above. If you do not agree to these terms, please leave the website.
Your Rights
You can email us at grievance.mydelulu@gmail.com and ask:
• To receive a copy of the personal details we have collected about you, and a summary of who we have shared them with
• To correct or complete any detail that is inaccurate
• To delete your personal details from our system, subject to any legal retention obligation
• To withdraw your consent, if you previously agreed to provide us with data and have since changed your mind
• To nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity
We respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
WhatsApp and SMS Notifications
By entering your phone number at checkout and placing an order, you agree that we may send you notifications about that order — including confirmation, dispatch, tracking, Cash on Delivery confirmation and delivery updates — by WhatsApp or SMS. These are service messages relating to your order, not marketing.
If you subscribe to our updates, you also agree that we may send you promotional messages about new arrivals and offers. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase.
To stop receiving marketing messages, reply STOP to any message from us, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Message and data rates may apply. To stop receiving order notifications, contact us — but note that we will then be unable to send you tracking or delivery updates.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and wishlist, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though parts of the site including checkout may not work correctly if you do.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption across the site, and rely on Shopify and Razorpay, both of which maintain PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure, for order and payment handling. Access to customer data within our team is limited to the people who need it to do their job.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required by law.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
